4:00 PM - 11:59 PM The Chico Air Show Chico is the only city in northern California to host a Jet team in 2010. This is the place to be to see jets galore and more!! Highlighting this year’s Air Show will be a thrilling aerial performance by the nine jets of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds Jet Team. Other performers include up and coming female pilot Melissa Pemberton, Kent Pietsch with the world’s smallest “carrier landing,” a jet powered car, Warbirds, a parachute team, military demonstrations, static displays and several flybys. Food vendors, souvenirs, a Kidzone full of fun for the kids, and the ever comfortable Flightline club with food by the Sons of Italy, all round out this weekend of great fun and entertainment. Once again this year’s show will begin with a Friday night twilight performance where you can enjoy general viewing and an evening of catered food and music at the Flightline.
General Admission: $10 Adv/$15 Gate/$5 Child |

Starting on Friday evening, September 25, dinner at 6:30pm. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday at 7:30am, and lunch Saturday at 12:30pm. All meals funded by donations.

Visual Flight Note: Following Hwy 7 between Crockett and Centerville, at intersections of the Trinity River and Hwy 7, airfield is 6.5 nm West. Look for white oil storage tanks on North side of Hwy7. (See 499’ tower same location on sectional chart.) Turn South one-half nm. Use left hand traffic for both runways. Runway width 100 feet, trees to trees, 70 X 3100 no overrun. Taxi only in mowed identified areas only. 121.9, ground frequency may be given after landing and off active. |
