The Port is also hosting the Northwest Seafood Chowder Cook-Off at this event. Local and area restaurants will prepare chowder onsite to be served to the public from 12:00 – 1:30pm. We are pleased to present onstage entertainment throughout the day. Local Shelton band, High Ceiling will be warming up the stage with their Reggae and Funk groove . Following them will be the Tune Stranglers, tighting up their fiddle strings for old time western swing. The Warren Brothers Band will kick up the action with classic rock tunes that have some strong blues vocals. Kapowsin Skydive, Mason County R/C Flyers and the Mason County Sportsman’s Association will host open houses and provide demonstrations during the event. The Mason County Sportsman’s Association welcomes everyone to visit their facility, talk with members and participate in free air gun and .22 rifle and pistol marksmanship.

The Port of Shelton will also present a huge Kids Zone. Free bouncy houses, slides and blow-up sumo wrestling are just a few of the activities! The Shelton Yacht Club will host a fishing booth and there will a be paper airplane contests, face-painting, balloon tying, hand’s on activities and marine touch tanks! So much to do! The event will include 22,000 sf of indoor displays as well plenty of outdoor community displays and vendors. Spaces are available free to non-profits and just $35 for profit vendors.
